So I know I'm not great at keeping up on my blog, but I'm going to try harder. So this summer Jordan had her first birthday and we had a lot of fun, then we took our first summer vacation to San Antonio. Even though it was very hot, we still enjoyed ourselves. Jordan the first 2 nights wouldn't sleep in her pack and play so it was a good thing we got a king size bed in our hotel room. Jordan has never slept in our bed before so it was interesting. I move around in my sleep a lot and the first night I did roll over on her, but the next night I was a little more aware of her. The last night though we put her in her play pen and she fell asleep just fine in there. It was nice to get away for a couple days but we were exhausted by the time we got home.
As of right now I started school again and hopefully by the end of next year I will have finished my biology major. I'm working again at my old veterinary clinic just 2 days a week. I like it just to get out of the house for a little while, and Jordan gets to spend time at her friends house and at Nana's. She is such a social butterfly. She loves meeting new people, and especially other pets. Well that's about all for right now.

I'm a drug addict!

So I know that I haven't written on my blog for a very, very, very, etc... long time. So I decided I would put a short post up about something that happened to me today, and wanted to put it up before Mike did. So as a background on this situation let me give you an update on what I will possibly doing this summer. I have applied to the YMCA to be a swim instructor. I have had an interview and the supervisor liked me and I filled out the rest of the paper work and got signed up for CPR, AED, O2 certification as well as swim instructor certification. I also had to go last Friday to do a drug test. On monday I start all the training as long as I pass all the pre-employment checks. Well I got a call today from them wanting to explain my drug test that I took. Imagine what my face must have been like hearing those words. I said okay, and the doctor said that my test came back positive and if I knew why. Why would I know why my test is positive she's the doctor and is suppose to be explaining this to me. I told her no and she said that it was positive for a perscription drug and asked if I had taken anything. Well that explained it. On Wednesday night I had a huge headache that I had had almost all day and nothing had worked to get rid of it so I took one of my darvacets (the pain killer I got after having Jordan). It worked and my headache was gone. Well after the interview on Thursday the drug test was scheduled for Friday. When Mike got home I asked him if that should be long enough for the darvacet to get out of my system, and he said yes. WRONG!!!!! Once I told the doctor all this she said it takes usually 3-4 days!!!! But as long as I emailed her the label off the bottle showing the drug was perscribed to me and before March 26th then I was fine and she would be able to right the drug test off as negative. Relieved about this I said I would get it to her right away and then as we were hanging up she said "thanks and good luck". Good Luck?! Why would I need luck?! So strange. So now Mike is going around saying I'm a drug addict and thinks this whole situation is hilarious. Hopefully this blog makes up for the lack of blogs.

Drive in Experience

So Mike and I have been wanting to go to the movies ever since Jordan was born. We had toyed with the idea of taking her to the movies with us since she usually sleeps through anything but as she gets older we've noticed that she is more aware to the sounds arount her. Well Mike remembered that we have a drive in here so we thought that that would be perfect since we would just be lounging in the back of the car and she loves to sleep in her car seat or we could even just let her lie on us or on the blankets. So Friday night we hed off to the drive in to see GI Joe and District 9 (didn't care to see district 9 just wanted to see gi joe). Well everything is going great until the movies starts and then out of no where Jordan wakes up and starts crying. So I realize its about time to feed her. She was so distracted by everything that she couldn't focus on eating so she began to scream and cry cause she was getting frustrated. We had to shut the back door of the car and roll up the windows cause we felt bad but then it got super dark in the car and Jordan doesn't like that apparantly so we turned on one of the interior lights. Mike felt bad for the other people around us so we moved the car to the very back (we could still see the screen really good so it wasn't that bad and I liked it better being in the back where no one else was). Well after 20 mins finally get her calmed down and fed and she fell asleep on me and we finished watching the movie. We thought we were good for the next movie but just like the first one she woke up very unhappy right when the movie started. After 30 mins got her calmed down and asleep again but the movie was horrible (district 9) and so we ended up leaving. Needless to say it was an eventfull night.

Well I haven't blogged in a while cause most people know that I am pregnant right, but since I'm not working any more and getting kind of bored I decided to update everything and everyone. I am expecting a girl on July 22nd and her name will be Jordan Marie Egbert. I have gained about 23 lbs and feel extremely huge but as my husbands says I'm not fat just pregnant and everyone tells me that I'm still really small so that makes me feel better. Don't have a lot going on right now but I will try to blog more. Here are some pics from my baby shower

1. Flying (just like Kody) Mike refuses to hold my hand on a plane b/c the first time we were on a plane together we were on a puddle jumper going over colorado I literally crushed his hand when we had turbulence I left bruises.

2. Needles. I can stick any animal and give shots and draw blood, but when it comes to me getting sticked I freak out all the time.

3. That I'm going to always have to work.

So everyone has been bugging me to put a new post up so here you go. Nothing much has changed still working at Aeropostale and not liking it so much but sticking it out for now. I work 40+ hours a week and am doing 2 classes online right now which are a breeze. So yeah haven't really had time for much else. Mike is going to school full time right now (15 hours) and working almost 50-60 hours a week so we basically never see eachother, but are making it work for now. So I will try and see if there's any pictures that are decent on mike's lap top to post and hopefully this post will do for now. sorry pretty boring.

I know i know I've got a new post up. Well I've been busy lately and working late hours so by the time I get home I just want to mesh and not think about anything. Well I was looking at my blog and realized that I haven't put anything up about my kitties (which if you know me my kitties are my babies right now and i pamper them to no end.) It's been a while

So yes it has been a while since i've been on blogger its just that I started a new job last week and so I've been extremely busy. And I've always had a hard time writing stuff consistently. So my new job is at Aeropastle as a manager. So far its good but it is retail again, but it pays better and so far no drama. Mike is still with nike and we are getting excited to go on vacation in July to see my sister Jennifer get married and just to relax for a while. Other than that we're pretty boring and not much has been going on. We've gone to a couple of astro games already and they we're awesome. We are still trying to get pregnant but no luck yet and it is starting to get pretty discouraging and makes me feel like I'll never be able to have kids, but mike is still staying positive. Ok anyways I can't think of much to say write now but here is my little update. Oh and mike and I for our 4 year anniversary went to Galveston for 2 days and we got to go to the moody gardens and to shiliterrban.

Dearest Eric

No we have not died, but I feel like I have or am about too but no one wants to finish me off. I have told Mike that you are getting bored on the internet and miss him so much that it makes you cry and in turn he started crying for feeling like he abandoned you. Mike has been working so much with nike that I hardly ever see him anymore. Usually I work 7-3 and he works 1 to 10 but doesn't get home usually till 11 or 12. So literally we don't see each other very much. I'm sad to hear that you and tricia won't be able to make it to jennifer's wedding and that we probably won't be able to see you for a while but we will try to keep in touch more. Oh and I have recently accepted a new job with the new aeropastle store that will open in may b/c it is a lot more money. As for anything new there isn't anything much different besides the jobs mike and i are a bunch of fuddy duddies. yes i just typed that. Love you guys and we will try to keep up on the blogging.

Car accident photos

So I don't really have anything interesting going on right now but I decided to post pictures of a car accident I was in a month ago b/c I forgot to sent these pictures out so here they are. Oh and Eric Mike will probably get on her later tonight or maybe tomorrow to put out a retaliation to the post you did about him. And the war begins.

(And I didn't cause the accident some idiot lady decided to turn into me going 40 miles an hour b/c she thought she was in a turn or go straight lane. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was in a straight only lane I was in the lane that went straight or turn left and I was going straight. I didn't have to pay a dime to have my car repaired. The total cost of the repairs was $5000 and the rental car came out to almost a $1000 so that will make her think twice about turning with out looking. Oh yeah she told me and the cop that she didn't even think to look before turning. What an idiot!!!!)

The Houston Rodeo!!!!

So just a quick blog on how great my husband is. He knew that my favorite country artists are Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw. Well they came to the rodeo this year but were performing on different nights rather than together like they normally do. So for my valentine's gift Mike got me tickets to both shows. And he actually came with me (He hates country music but does like faith and Tim, but he actually wanted to go and watch the rodeo which was awesome.) I love you sweetie.

MY FIRST BLOG!!!

So my sister started blogging to keep in touch from Japan. So of course I started one too. Everyone knows that I like to talk (a lot) but when it comes to typing everything I say down, one it comes out really boring b/c its just a bunch of rambling, and two I get very bored. But I will try to keep everything coherent and interesting. So this is mainly for Tricia and Eric, b/c Eric called Mike and I out personally on his blog. Mike and I are in Houston, TX still (go Texas! Oh and Eric the Astros won their last game.) Mike just got a job working for Nike (His dream job!) And hopefully next summer we will be in Portland, OR for an internship with them and then hopefully they'll offer us a job and we may end up staying there for a while. I'm working at a veterinary clinic right now, which is fun but filled with drama b/c there is one guy and 14 women working there. We work with the pet stores in the mall and a store called the puppy store so we mainly see puppies all day long which is fun but makes me want one really bad!!! Anyway I don't know what else to say right now but hopefully this gives everyone an update on the Houston Egbert's.
